European human hair is the highest quality hair on the market and I promise you that you are guaranteed to enjoy your extensions for a long time. The hair is guaranteed not to have been aggressively bleached, coated with a silicone layer or otherwise pre-treated. The dreads are made especially for you with a lot of love and the greatest care.

The hair is unprocessed. Every braid we use is assigned to a color category after detailed assessment in different lighting conditions. Overall we can offer these categories:

- black
- dark brown
- medium brown
- light brown
- darkblond
- medium blonde
- light blonde
- burgundy red
- (rarely) natural red, reddish blonde

However, please remember: Just as every person is different, every braid of hair is also unique. Slight variations in color are completely normal and unavoidable if you want unprocessed hair - especially for medium to large orders, as we have to take hair from several braids. However, experience shows that small color differences in dreads are only slightly or not at all visually visible. Since it is real hair, you can dye, tint or bleach it at any time if necessary to achieve your desired color.

If you would like, you can also send us a strand of hair by post in advance and we will do a color match for you. Also note that the threaded part often appears a little darker than the open tips.



Can I dye/blonde your dreads?

All of our dreads are 100% dyeable with conventional colors and tints. However, we generally advise against bleaching and cannot guarantee the result. We also advise against cheap drugstore paints. Instead, use colors from hairdressing supplies or herbal hair dyes.

Note: To continue dyeing, you do NOT need the lightest possible blonde to achieve a beautiful result! In most cases, on a medium blonde base, the result will be more beautiful and natural. Since very light blonde in unbleached form is also comparatively rare, we think it is increasingly fair to leave it to people who really need this color and not over-dye it. Medium blonde tones are ideal for coloring, it is absolutely not necessary to be lighter (unless you want neon red or pink, for example, but we can also make this for you straight away :-)

A word about thickness

We crochet our dreads comparatively tightly, so it is not possible to achieve a diameter of 1-2 cm for this price, unless we backcomb more, which means they lose length (write to us if you would like this). In order to achieve a significantly thicker diameter, you also need significantly more hair. Caucasian human hair is the most valuable hair on the market and has a high price even for us when purchasing, so please understand that we have to charge an extra charge for thicker dreads.

A word to my American friends

I'm saying this especially to my American friends because there seems to be a lot of misunderstanding and unrealistic expectations from there that we see nowhere else. We do not work with Afro, Brazilian or Asian Hair because first this kind of hair is often of bad quality because it has been treated with wrong products by manufacturers and secondly we make sure that the dreads have the same structure and development as caucasian hair because You obviously want the extensions to blend in without being noticed. The pricing for european/caucasian hair is a whole different level than what is being sold as extensions in afro shops etc.,it is the most valuable hair in the world, MEANING you will NOT get super fat sharpie sized dreads or 1 meter long locs for that price. We have had this case many times with American customers, we put lots of time, effort and material into making tons of dreads from high quality hair and then they demand a refund because they "expected differently". Please be realistic about thickness and get informed about the type of hair we are using. We give measurements on all our product pages, please read carefully, all our dreads are made exactly as described. Also keep in mind that almost no one with caucasian hair will have a head full of 50 or more sharpie sized dreads from the beginning, the diameter sold by us is the absolute standard size for caucasian beginner dreads and they will fit onto 90% of new dreadheads. Also we tend to crochet them rather tight and thoroughly, they will get thicker over time just like all other dreads do.
